Dive Buddy(s): Terina & Charlie Visibility: 50 ft -------------------- Camera: Nikonos V/2 Strobes Lens: 35mm/1:2 Macro Film: Velvia 50 ASA Photo Comments: Tried some shots of mysid in the water column. -------------------- Dive Comments: Went down the Mermaid's float then over wall behind the mermaid and allong to the right then up to the shoreline wall and back to bay. This dive had the most amazing bio-luminesence I have ever seen, we played in it for an hoiur after the dive. -------------------- ***Fish*** ratfish, blackeye goby, northern ronquil, kelp greenling, ling cod, painted greenling, whitespotted greenling, copper rockfish, puget sound rockfish, yelloweye rockfish, red irish lord, kelp perch, pile perch, shiner perch, striped perch, plainfin midshipman, tubesnout. ***Cnidarians*** beaded tealia, crimson anemone, giant plumose anemone, swimming anemone, orange cup coral, pink mouthed hydroids, sea firs hydroids, sea pen. ***Nudibranchs*** red-gilled aeolid, coloured dendronotid, golden dirona, yellow-rimmed dorid, monterey sea lemon, ringed dorid. ***Echinoderms*** blood stars, sunflower stars, rose stars, painted stars, velcor stars, purple stars, cookie stars, vermillion stars, Claifornia cucumber, green urchins. ***Arthropods*** sea spiders, red rock crabs, sponge hermit crabs, bering hermit crabs, mysid, coonstripe shrimp, kinkaid's shrimp. ***Univalves*** leafy hornmouth, moon snail, dwarf moon snail, wrinkled amphissia. ***Bivalves & Polyplachapora*** lined chiton, red chiton, swimming scallop, jingle shell. ***Sponges*** boot sponge, boring sponge, cloud sponge, orange finger sponge. ***Lophophorates*** snakeshead brachiopod, lacy bryozoan, rabbit ear bryozoan. ***Tunicates*** bristly tunicate, broad-base tunicate, horse-shoe tunicate, sea peanut, sea peach, strawberry tunicate, transparent tunicate, warty tunicate. ***Worms*** calcareous tubeworms, giant white calcareous tubeworms. ***Algae*** laminaria, cup & saucer algae, red algae. ***Cephalopods*** pacific octopus out and hunting, quite a big one.
