About me...

I started taking photos seriously in the late 1980's as a result of learning to scuba dive and having a desire to show people the beauty of the underwater world.. I currently have over 900 dives in British Columbia, Alaska, California, Caribbean and Mexico waters and I have progressed through several camera setups and have recently retired my Nikonos V setup in favour of a Canon G9 in a Patima underwater housing with two Inon Z240 strobes and various wet lenses. I chose this system based on compactness and ease of transport.

I also use I Canon 5D and 5D MKII for above water photography.

Above water I am mostly interested in animals and nature with a preference for the extremes of Macro and telephoto lenses. Underwater I spend time trying to capture some of the less frequently photographed plants and animals as well as the usual local favourites.
